How is Apateu different from a generic AI chatbot?
A chatbot answers questions from a generic knowledge base. Apateu is an agent — it takes actions inside your workflow: books tours, drafts leases, dispatches vendors, sends renewal offers. And every Apateu deployment is grounded in your specific lease terms, vendor list, and policies — not a generic model trained on the open internet.
Which property management systems do you integrate with?
We have native connectors for Entrata, RealPage, Yardi, and AppFolio. If you're on a less common stack, we can typically integrate via standard CSV exports or the system's API within the first two weeks of deployment.
Where does our portfolio data go? Is it used to train a global model?
No. Every Apateu deployment runs as a private tenant. Your data is used only to ground your agent — never to train a shared or global model. We can sign a custom DPA on request.
What happens when the agent doesn't know something?
It says "I don't know" and routes to a human on your team — by design. Apateu agents are configured to refuse rather than guess on anything outside their grounded knowledge base. You'll see every escalation in the audit log.
Who's liable if the agent makes a mistake?
For the first 30 days of every deployment, every outbound message stages as a draft for your team to approve. As trust builds, you choose which categories of action the agent can take autonomously. The audit trail logs every decision, the policy that triggered it, and who (human or agent) authorized it.
How long does onboarding take?
